Okay, so what if you don’t fall into one of the aforementioned 7 reasons? I don’t watch Gilligan’s Island, never incorporate body sounds into jokes, quote song lyrics, order drinks for other women, talk about what happened in the bathroom, speak about a woman’s body(unless I am complimenting her) nor do I believe that I have given her reason to think it is a mistake. We did it a lot when we first got married, all the way up to our first child. She didn’t want sex after that until she wanted another baby or when she had been tipsy. After that, it took a LONG time before we started having a healthy sexual relationship. We had our third child and now she doesn’t even want to touch me. If I bring it up she get mad, and we have sex maybe once a month sometime longer between sessions.

That’s incredibbly interesting, do you believe there will be a correct translation put into the mainstream or do you believe those that translated chose to incorporate only those items which they felt were relevant for western society?

I really did just sit there and stare at the proof when it arrived. I still stare at it. *stares* Book two, Urden, God of Desire, is going through edits now. I think a fun part of being an author is to revisit a book I wrote a while back for edits and read it again. Invariably I always say, “Did I write this?”

I think your completely right – in a world hungry for sex, why is the idea of visual, Hollywood erotic fiction so ridiculous? Surely its the obvious progression, a fusing between porn and stories?
It makes sense to me!
